Susan Smith
Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Student Intern
Susan graduated from Wellesley College in 2008 with hopes of
becoming a veterinarian. Over the past eight months, she has been
shadowing Dr. Doughty, and is excited to learn more about animal
medicine. In her free time, Susan enjoys sailing on her family's
schooner in Boothbay Harbor, baking highly caloric treats, hiking
mountains (especially in New Zealand), and continuing the
domestication of her semi-feral cat. She looks forward to working with
animals of all shapes and sizes for the rest of her life, and has started
her first year of study at Cornell's Veterinary University this fall. Susan
works with us on and off between school obligations.
